I agree, one piece bumpers look much better if all other aspects are equal. The replica does look great from 5 feet and I was happy when I first received my replica until I really looked at it closely and then talked to a good body shop about finishing it for me.
When looking across the front of it, the shape/curvature of the front bumper is not even and would require masterful sanding ($$$) to make the overall finish look as good as an OEM bumper/sportec combo. Then you have the imperfections of the grill opening and the lower and inner edges at the wheel well opening that need considerable work to have the same fit/finish as OEM. After all of that is taken care of, there is not a great mounting solution to hold up the middle section of the bumper, one needs to be fabricated. I had my replica redone and paid a shop to make it good, but it still isn't perfect so that's why I also chose to use my authentic sportec front.
Sam, you may want to consider using the B7 Votex sideskirts, much easier to maintain, more secure mounting, and look almost exactly the same. I just replaced my Sportec sideskirts with Votex and am very happy with it.
