Only if you have our Downpipe Y Adapter. It fits all of the stock exhaust hangers.

Just flashed a new revision yesterday! It may seem like baby steps, but journey will be well worth it.

    CVT,

did I collect your email for flashing information yet?

Hey Jake, I know it's no FI system, but would you think this Magnaflow RS4 catback bad boy would bolt up reasonably well to a B7 with the DP-Y?

According to AZ it will fit, but it costs more than the FI.

Very tight since it's 2 3/4 compared to my old bb downpipe which was 2 1/2 . If you leave the cat in and do just the DP I use a long socket extension I got a sweet 36" snapon that gets to the 3 bolts , but I think you said you got a test pipe so your attack will be different , it fits in there don't be all scared how close it is to the tranny

On a totally random note, guess I'm rearranging my parts priorities yet again. Clutch is starting to slip when I accelerate(around 3.1-3.3k rpms in 3rd and 4th, forget what it was for 5th/6th), so now I'm just debating which Stage to go with. Definitely ordering soon, also gonna see what my Mechanic charges for the install

Damn, really huh? So why go stage 3/4 then?

x2, the worst part of replacing clutch. I run a stage 3 Vast clutch and love it still. Probably around 30k on it by now.

at least if your going off a full tank, its two refills before you can have fun again. Just curious about reversing, I slip it when I go back, nothing more than 30ft (my parking spot in my driveway, when finishing a turn, ect.) Would that be bad during the break in process or naw?

I still drove strong when I was in break in. I just avoided making peak power, like full throttle 30psi kind of power. I drove it strong, quick shifts, when I had to reverse I would just get the pedal out quickly, you odn't need much acceleration for reverse so I kept my right foot on the break to slow it down.

I only babied mine for about 100 miles. Then I drove it like an old man til like 300 miles. Then I drove it like a normal person until about 500, but by 500 I was driving like me again. Still didn't launch it for a while after that.

I've done a handful of real launches since then, never once felt it slip. I'm now even able to squeal all 4 tires of I get the launch just right a little over 5k RPMS. The clutch seems to love it. Again, I have a Vast stage 3 clutch, which then became Drakes clutches, wich then again went out of production for the second time. From what I understand, the JHM clutch is the closest thing on the market to my clutch, though I run the stock DMFW.

Reverse, I wouldn't worry about that. Just don't back up a 45 degree angle from being stopped or anything.

Only done that once in NH last summer, thought I killed it. Never doing that shit again

Can't wait to order it, also bringing a few other parts to John (4ringking) to install while he's at it, figure why not have a bit of a bundle going

Do you get tire squeal? IIRC you have the same tires and wheels? vmr 701 and DWS? Anytime I am more than 30-40mph going into a turn my tires squeal like crazy.

No DWS. I had General AS03 before. But now I have Toyo Proxes Plus 4 or some shit like that. Lol. They were a little chalet than the Generals, and I war looking for something with a little less traction actually, and these can be rotated every way since they are non directional.

That's what you want in summer tires right? Little to no traction so you can spin wheels left and right? Because right now I'm just getting really hardcore tire squeal, but I want to be in second gear at like 40 doing donuts through roundabouts with a ton of retired 70 year olds waving their fists at me yelling "hooligan" and "god damn youngsters" and "Your generation blows"

Exactly my point. The AS03 are awesome tires, just wanted to be able to get some spin. It's better for launching. less chance for bog.

Hmmm gotta get some summers! These dws's are shit....they have lasted like 3 summers now for whatever that's worth. Totes a terrible snow tire, slipper in the rain, and far too sticky to be a dry tire. I guess its what you get in an all season tire package.
