Well.. I swore I would not get a dark colored car after having three dark ones in the past. Of course Audi had to make a dark color I just couldn't resist LOL! So I promised myself that this car's paint will be well taken care of

UPDATE...

H&R OE Springs

Had H&R OE Springs put on this week. Special thanks to Chris (chrissurfr) for pointing me out to Deviate Autosport here in Houston. They are great guys! Aroldo and his staff will take good care of you! I highly recommend them for any aftermarket work you need done on your Audi.

I was going for a conservative drop and after doing extensive research and looking at loads of pics I decided that H&R OE Springs was the way to go. I have some 12mm H&R spacers on order, of course they are on backorder till Sept!

I'm very happy with the look and the ride is slightly firmer (which I prefer) and for some reason it seems that there is less road noise..

I actually am going to keep the stock black tips. Should have gone with my salesman's advice to see the car first then he could order the tips for me.. Black tips are just growing on me.

Def a more milky white then pink. Could it be the reformulated/V2? Do colors vary? Even the glass cleaner is not a bright green..

Very odd. Detail spray V2 is still very pink. Glass cleaner looks close. Did you shake the detail?

Will be installing them this week to get the alignment to spec. Will also be putting on some spacers as soon as they are back in stock from H&R (hopefully in a few weeks).

So even with just springs you need the arms? I had a feeling. I wish Audi would just use these kinds of adjustable arms. This has been an issue for me since 1986 and my 86 Coupe GT. the car ate tires because they could never get the camber right.

Love the Panther Black though it seems to camouflage the already very subtle fender flares on the RS5. Great interior choice, too.

H&R OE Springs/H&R 12mm DR Trak+ Spacers/SPC Adj Control Arms


Hi All..

Finally got my H&R 12mm spacers put on after a two month backorder from H&R. No rubbing at all under 99% for driving or full turn. Have hit many dips in the road at high speed and no rubbing. Only slight rub under full compression (very steep driveways).

Thanks to the great guys at Deviate Autosport for their GREAT service! Anyone in Houston that needs work done, call Aroldo and he and his team will do a great job!
