    activate cruise control light in cluster

    After I swap out my ecu I need to reactivate cruise control by doing the appropriate login. Cruise works fine but I never get the "cruise" light in the cluster anymore. Does anyone know how to reactivate this?

    Maybe I'm thinking of a different car I've had but I swear before I did an ecu swap when I used cruise there was a green cruise word in the cluster??

    I guess that would explain it then. I don't know if I've ever owned a car that didn't have a visual indication that the cruise was on or off. That's odd.

    Not all cars have a physical on/off switch for cruise either, usually just a button therefore the need for a light.
