    Midnight purple rims?

So I have a 03 a6 4.2 with s5 replica rims. Ive been thinking of getting my wheels painted, I was talking to a buddy of mine who does alot of work in automotive painting etc about having them done in satin black when he suggested midnight purple. Thoughts? My a6 is silver, but I have been toying with the idea of plastidiping it black this summer.

if you like it, do it.
i personally wouldnt but everyone has different taste.

you should photoshop it first and see how it would look, to see if you would want it permanently done.

Well from what he told me is that its a dark dark purple almost seems black. He painted his gsxrs wheels that color so im going to take a look at them.

In my opinion, I wouldnt go with any dark wheels on a light silver car. I plastidipped mine black, at one point. They looked AWESOME on their own. But, didnt look right on the car. Dark wheels are better on dark cars, IMHO. Here is what it looked like
