Thank you sir! It is actually anthracite plasti-dip with some dusting of metalizer on top to lighten them up. I am really happy with how they turned out. And yeah I am going to do the remaining chrome pieces in anthracite eventually (except the front rings). Already have it on my rear rings. Compliments the silver so well. I almost thought about spraying the rs5 grill with it ha.

Oh yeah? Thats a nice color for sure. I've considered doing my rears a grey finish but I refuse to touch the front rings and I'm afraid my OCD will not allow the rings to differ:( Your car makes me cheese. The exact car I picked up 3 years ago last week in the exact same form.

has anyone else thought about putting carbon fiber vinyl over the crash bar behind the grille? I painted mine when I first installed it, after a small road trip, got some bugs stuck to the crash bar. When the bugs came off some of the paint came off. And yes, I light sanded & primed it before I painted it. I think it will be subtle, not too much. What ya think?

That should look awesome. In direct sun you should easily be able to see it. I plastidipped mine so it should be pretty durable

I'm on the fence, but leaning towards black/black. For anyone interested in using the filler plate instead of painting the metal bar behind the grille, I have a like new one in matte grey that can be rattle canned matte black. It is an OEM plate delete. PM me an offer or trade me some spacers.

Yes, she should send you an invoice with the paypal address on it. Just let her know when you have paypal'd the money and she will send you a tracking number in a few days. Normally takes 5 days or so to make it to the states.

I used 3m di-noc glossy black, which it's more of a semi gloss. I took the pics in the sun so you can see the vinyl. When it's not facing the sun you can barely notice it. Which is what i wanted. Getting it inside the middle of the bar was a slight pain, but overall not too bad. I like it, for $18 with a lot leftover.
