My car drives so much better in colder weather. It was in the 50s today and it felt like I was driving a brand new car.

Cold air is more dense meaning more air more power. Plus less heat soak on intercooler

I think he's saying when his ENGINE is COLD, not exactly the Ambient outside temperature is cold, his car pulls better.

And to be honest, mine does it too. If I'm not to opp temp, my car pulls harder, its most likely due to the fueling and ignition timing on warm-up.

I wish it ran like that all the time and without any negative side effects, but I'mm with ya OP.

I would agree with the others, don't push your car when it's not up to operating temp, and about the turbos liking cold weather

And this is why the forums are a joke now.

You should never beat on your car before its fully warmed up. It will cause premature wear on the engine components. It probably feels faster because the intercooler and turbo haven't gotten a chance to warm up yet and therefore there's colder air being fed into the engine

No, the B6 forums are a joke now because the average age of owner's have dropped to the teen's and the prices went from $30k cars down to what... a pathetic $5-10k for a decent condition B6 A4 these day's.

I'm in for the long haul, maybe in another 10 years the kids will move on to other cars and those of us true B6 guy's will be left to ramble on about plastic parts breaking.

I'm pretty young at 19 but yeah there's some really stupid posts sometimes from 16 year olds getting their first cars. Unfortunately their first car being the one we love. I think my favorite thread I've seen so far is the, B8 RS 4 front end on a B6

You guys need to buy a new car if you're going to complain about a younger crowd entering this platform.

There's plenty of youngins here who do their research and don't post useless threads

This is also true, although it is very entertaining when noobs post something really funny and the OG members of the thread drive them away from the forums haha
