its a real kit, previous owner's gf had an a4 but they split and he is a mustang guy so he's had the kit for years now BNIB and decide to sell it. So I got lucky in stumbling onto it

Nice find Elton... Those are some rare parts there...even Sportec CH doesn't have them any more. Brings a tear to my eye to see another pristine set being installed.

Turbavanttro has a full Sportec exhaust for sale, including the HFC...he may still have the suspension bits as well.

I recommend Lamin-x or some other type of clear bra for the front spoiler as it's very low and extremely fragile.

GL w/ your Sportec quest...it's a mean and expensive mistress

nice find! as arclight mentioned, i sold my sportec coils to kneel but i do still have the full sportec exhaust with sportec hfc, pm me if interested. its a quality piece, very nice tone but i dont have any sound clips. only reason im selling is i want to run 2.5 inch diameter rear piping for my stroker, the sportec rear piping diameter is around 2.35 inch.

if you need any advice on the install i or arclight can help you out. its not hard but there are some things you can do that arent mentioned in the sportec installation instructions to make the install and fitment spot on. i have pdfs of the sportec installation instructions if you need them.

^ the PDF would be great! I'm dropping it off at the bodyshop next week. They have never heard of sportec so it would be great to have as much guides/reference to aid them in the install, I have a set of 19" Sportec monos being shipping to me within the week and it needs some refinishing work which I'll probably get to the fall.

Hey guys Arc/turboavant

when you guys had the front Sportec spoiler installed did you guys cut your OEM lower?
The Sportec instructions show some bolts that can be removed but I don't think I saw any on my OEM bumper.

Since I started as an Ultrasport I didnt have to cut anything. But the base model A4 had some cutting that was necessary, take a look at the instructions, there are pics of what needs to be cut, just some of the plastic on the upper piece. The lower is just removed from the car so shouldnt need to cut any of it. The pics in the pdf show everything pretty clear, but you'll have to use a language converter to read the instructions.

Yeah, myself and other have molded the Sportec front and I'm pretty sure 100% of them have cracked.

I spoke w/ Turbavanttro today and he said you were having some issues w/ the rear bumper.

You are going to need to run the USP upper rear bumper cover w/ the USP rebar (or a modded standard rebar) if you want to run the Sportec rear valance. The standard A4 bumper cover sticks out further than the USP (aka euro) rear bumper and will not work for the Sportec rear.

Oh, and don't mold the front, it will just crack from the stress. I epoxied/screwed mine to the stock front upper bumper and it's held up well. Sikaflex 242 works well for the glue.

I found a USP rear bumper in the classified so I'm talking to the seller on if he will ship it over.

IIRC, people have just modded the stock rebar to work w/ the USP rear bumper. Do a search here on AZ as I know it's been done before...

I've shipped stuff (whole body kits) to Canada before using Fedex Ground. The caveats: There is a limit on the size so the seller will have to make sure it fits within their dimensions (otherwise it ends up as freight which is triple the cost). Also, it needs to be sent from an Fedex-Kinko's location, not a mailboxes etc type place. GL!
