Hey guys I'm new to Audizine, I recently bought a used 2004 Audi A4 1.8t and just finished revamping the exterior look of the car. Now I'm looking to do some performance mods! (Start with chipping and exhaust and go from there?) Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks!! I put on s4 rear sway bar and lowered it on H&R springs. The only other things i did was put on a new snub mount and it needed new engine mounts! How much do you think injectors, intercooler, and fuel pump will run?

get the injectors used and/or in the classifieds here or craigslist to save a bit of $$$ (just make sure you get your tune to match them).
fmic can run anywhere to as low as $350 for the 'decent' ebay ones, to well over 1k for the higher quality ones. it relaly depends on if your staying with k03 or have plans of going BT.

Nice ride man. I notice you said you did exterior mods, does that mean you put the usp bumper on or is it a real usp?

Looks good, I'm hopefully going for a little mini road trip to pick up a brand new oem usp lower with grilles in Jersey for $300. That's a good price for new oem with grilles right? Now I just need to figure out if I'm gonna leave all my lowers grey, paint them black, or be like everyone else and color match. I like the look of the color match but if I'm gonna spend that kind of money on a "mod" I don't want it to make me blend in with the crowd I would rather stand out!

I say take off your DOPE sticker, but your car looks really nice! Especially for black which is SUCH a hard colour to keep!

What are your aspirations performance wise? DD? BT?
Ride height looks great! Are those 18s or 19s?

I'd suggest jumping into Stage 1 (Exhaust and Tune), then taking your time to figure out where to go from there... injectors might be something you'd buy (normally TT225 with k03/k04) and then replace right away if you went BT.
k04 or GTRS debates on here are great reads if you're thinking DD

Devils eyes look good on it, but ecodes would look way better. I can personally vouch that the devil eyes are terrible in quality, light output, etc. The car looks really nice though! Any rear/interior shots you can provide?

Headlights are taste preferred don't listen to forum people just because they are sick of a specific look. Do what's right for you....meaning overall the car looks good thus far.

Exhaust doesn't do much for overall performance. You sound like your a step ahead of me since you've done your exterior and the rest is stock. Based on your preference of a DD. More power of a recommended GTRS kit + 034 hi flow cat/test pipe + FMIC + tune then add on brakes. Save up just another few months since you already have the money for exhaust + tune. Which to me means about 1000+. My opinion of course.

Stance is nice the way it is. Something to be said for practicality and actually being able to DRIVE the car. Nice find! Not really feeling the headlights (eCodes for the win!) but if you like them then ultimately that is all that matters.

Have a peek at some of the FAQ's, like Clint's Ultimate Performance Noob writeup. Lots of good info there. Actlsub9's B6 A4 Ultimate Modification Information Thread is also a really good reference.

    Good luck!

When I bought mine I started with a tune (unitronics) and exhaust... it is, IMO, how the car should have come (performance wise) from the factory. I'm sure a lot of members would say the same. It has a little bit more jump and pep, the lag is reduced a bit, and even my fuel economy went up a little bit too (when I granny drive it or use cruise control).

Chip and Exhaust is a great way to go! If you're planning on a DD set up then you can start looking into and planning for something like k04 or GTRS... both of these step ups will require cooling (DSMIC or FMIC), injectors, coil packs, TIP etc. so you'll buy yourself some time to save some coin and do the homework on which system you'd prefer while still having SOME extra gains.
