Anyone have an Audi S5 Sprint blue? and thoughts on the colour.

Hey guys,

Am looking at getting an Audi S5 this week. I have been looking for a couple of days. I orginally wanted white but every man and his dog appears to be
driving a white car. I have seen a few colours and came accross an Audi S5 in sprint blue for sale with every possible extra you can imagine. I think
the first owner may have been bill gates haha. The interior is silver pearl nappa leather.

so am leaning towards this car but the only thing is the colour. I have not seen it in person but am going down to look at the car tomorrow so
will find out soon enough.

A few videos I have seen on youtube people are saying its a real head turning colour and receives numerous compliments from people
who have seen the cars etc.

Has anyone here got an S5 in sprint blue? whats your thougts to bright or just right?

I have a Sprint Blue S5 that coincidentally am selling as well..it's a real nice color, a lot of people have complimented me about it.

I like sprint but only if it's on a modded car. It's a really flashy blue(reminds me of superman blue) and only works if the car is flashy enough to support it. I've seen modded sprint blue cars that look GORGEOUS....but on the flip side, I've seen stock sprint blue cars that look like shit. If you plan on keeping it stock, don't get sprint blue. That's my personal opinion.

Saw one on the highway the other day, lowered and with rims. Looked sweet! Definitely a head turner. But like EN said, if stock it may look like shit.

THIS! my buddy has one and it's stock.. the color looks too flashy stock. if it was lowered and had wheels, exhaust, etc, it's a different story.

Is the sprint blue available in an automatic transmission? When I was looking for a CPO S5, I scoured the internet, and could not find a single sprint blue in auto. You guys can hound on me all you want for driving an auto, but I live in a very congested region and sit in traffic every day during those horrible Jersey Shore summers.

Also, the color is amazing. They had one at the dealer I got my car at and it just stood out. My girlfriend loved it too and she is picky about colors. I'm dying to see Sepang Blue or Estoril Blue in person, though.

Sepang is soooo much nicer, IMHO.. just wait 'til you see it in person. I feel you on the traffic. driving back to Long Island in 1st and 2nd gear from CT sucks.. but still worth springing for the manual if you can!

I will find out soon enough will be viewing it soon. I will be changing the alloy wheels and putting a militek non resonated exhaust and further more tinting it.

The question is do we go with a black tint or be daring a get a blue tint?

Cant decided on what alloys would suit a blue either. Anyone got in pics with sweet alloys on a sprint blue.

I have seen in person. Check out Zee007 on A5oc. He ran black optic pieces with black painted rear valence and anthracite BBS. Looked awesome imo.

Just picked up an 09 Sprint Blue S5 coupe. I think it looks amazing stock..received a bunch of compliments on it and I've had it 6 days..


..but it will be modded. Just not right away..

The first thing I want to do is have it tinted. I went to see someone today about it but he kinda put me off having it done. He said its a risky job doing the S5 because the amp is located in the rear boot, the solution he is going to use to apply the film can leak and cause thousands of pounds worth of damage. If this true? has anyone had this happen to them?

Furthermore he stated that the front windows get scratched quite easily on these cars and I am likely to see scratches overtime on the front tints.

I don't know what to do. If this is true I might have to stay clear of tints :(

just get it done at the dealer if you are really worried but still want tints. Go 35% for a nice look, or 20% for a darker nice look. I wouldn't worry though, just remember to tell them to cover up the amp with a towel. :)

Just have him cover the amps in the trunk with plastic and towels. There should be no issue with scratches on the front windows.

Hey Dude In regards to the colour. The Audi paperwork ie service history have it done as sprint blue but the vehicle owner log V5 it says Blue on its own. Hmm so not sure what it is now :/ lol

Get the paint code off the sticker in the trunk below the spare tire and post it on the forum. Someone here can confirm the color based on the code.

i dunno what you guys are talking about...it looks like sprint blue to me. Especially the first picture.
