Chestnut sport seats and Al trim is the way to go! Took me a long time to find one with that combo.

New (younger) motor and trans for around the same price as a full top end rebuild.
Even a new radiator. I just have to reverse flush the heater core this weekend and this old lady is ready for cosmetic attention only.

Went to the Aspen area this weekend to see the last of the fall colors. Saturday was beautiful, however coming home Sunday was a nightmare due to unexpected snow. We took Loveland Pass initially but were forced to turn around a couple miles shy of the top as CDOT had closed it. Drove all the way back to Dillon where it was stop and go on I70 averaging maybe 10 mph up to the tunnel. Fortunately it cleared up after that.

Apologies in advance if these images show up massive; it was a real test of my tech savvy to get JPG extensions from teh Goggle Photo

Putting my faithful steed back on the road. It was my main car since 2011. Travelled around the country in bugeye wrx wagon for 2 years; didn't manage to sell the avant in the meantime. Must be a sign. It fired right up and shows no protest to being driven around. Wrx was my dream car in youth, but I must say, this old Audi is a better car in many ways. I'm shooting for a high score of 300,000!!
