Knock off RS6 grill installed today. Firmament isn’t perfect but its pretty damn good for under 100 bucks. I need new rings for the front though. I broke nearly all the tabs getting them off the old grill. Thing is made of cheap plastic. I may get a custom gunmetal one made.

And of course the obligatory bumper off draining of washer fluid pic




Also test fitted my old OZs which are gonna look great as they are much wider and better offset than my stock ones. (Yes they need a serious cleaning - been in the garage for almost 5 years)

The ST coilovers go on next week and then I’ll put the OZs on. I’ll probably get some 19s at some point though, keeping my eye out for some that catch my eye.

I have a Thule box for my Mazda and it’s a game changer on trips with kids.
I’ll probably get a similar one for the Audi and paint match it.
The low profile ones like above are for skis me thinks rather than luggage etc as they don’t seem tall enough to fit suitcases but I don’t know.

They are pretty pricey however so I am holding out for a used one since I plan to paint it anyway.

We have a big Thule and it's fantastic for camping. And in the winter I can fit 4 boards and all the boots up top. I've had it since my Mk4 gti when I could do 4 guys on a ski trip thanks to the box.

The skinny ones look sweet, but limited on space. My massive one is a tank and can fit so much more.

That's awesome. I wish I could do that. But I have 2 more wolves running around. They would be more annoying than my kids on a long trip fighting for the best spot on that hammock haha.

Yeah that would be a struggle for sure! Finn just lays down and sleeps back there if the drive is longer than 10 minutes.

As requested! We've got two different ones. Our original keurgo or however it's spelt, it's decent but Finn broke the middle zipper with his big ass haha.

The other is an oem audi one. It's awesome, even covers the doors.

I think I've got some better photos of the covers themselves. I'll take a look.
