I have nothing against a Euro hatch. But I don't understand the obsession of putting them on US cars. They only look right with the appropriate Euro plate

Euro hatches look dumb with US plates, yes, but I'd do what I could to run a Euro plate. I know one of the guys here in Denver has a Euro plate that is actually a Colorado plate and I don't think he's had an issue with it.

That's still not legal though. I'd just run a plate over the euro plate and take it off for shows/shoots/ect. The way I figure it the car was designed with a euro hatch. It flows with the car better then the afterthought US hatch.

I've seen the way you dress. Good taste doesn't come to mind. And no, those US state Euro plates are not legal - none of them.

In utah I am fairly certain you can go through a very long and expensive process to register a euro plate. (however I don't know if it has to be used on a "classic" euro vehicle)

Yeah, there's a few others in the "show me your box" stickies thread. Not many, though. It's all plasticky Thule and Yakima. To each his or her own...
