I do not think it was so much more than the windshield, hood and left front fender that was buckled. Could be a problem with the right a-pillar but it looked good.

:) The moose went in the ditch and then stood up and went into the forrest! So no steak for me! The hunters came with dogs to track it and put it down. Luckily the avant is a safe car. I didn' get a scratch. A moose is VERY BIG close up.

Thanks for sharing! I can appreciate your passion. I think you make some blanket accusations, but you are entitled to your opinions. For the record, Alta's management has never asked for my opinion on any business decision. Yes, I love Alta, it holds dear memories of friends and family and decades of great seasons. Am I a fool ? maybe, a racist? never. We lost a great family friend of color in an avalanche last year, I don't remember him asking us what color we were. I look down on no one for what they ride, drive, marry, eat, believe, just don't try to sell me something over the phone. I draw the line there! Ok, I'm done. Now where were we?....

You support Alta therefore you support their bigotry and segregated ways. Supporting them makes you a part of problem, not part of a solution.

It's absurd that the FIS has any say in snowboarding when as a community, skiers allow for stone age acts of acceptance because people are different.

It's comical how much of an elitist group skiers are, yet snowboarding is what brought you people out of the stone ages and introduced you to so many things from technology to fashion to terrain parks and modern events and contests.

If Alta wants to limit their mountain to 45% of Winter sport enthusiasts then let them. Keystone finally saw the light and have been more profitable because of it. If I was to leave CO for snowboarding I'd be headed North to Jackson anyway.

There's an article I read a few months back regarding lifting of the ban and Aspen was one of the best places in explaining the benefits. Alta and Deer Valley had shit excuses for why they ban snowboarding; Mad River Glenn at least did a decent job in explaining why they have a ban, though I still think it's ignorant.

I seriously am disappointed in the partnership with Alta for the Mountain Collective pass. It's absolutely absurd that as a snowboarder I should have to pay the same for a pass that a skier gets more access with. Not to mention great resorts like Aspen and Jackson should be ashamed to have any affiliation with those bigots at Alta.

They really ban snowboarding at resorts in Colorado? That's fucking stupid. The resorts here on the east coast might not be great, but at least none of them ban snowboarders. I'd be pissed if I were Greedo too.

Alta is in Utah. I think Aspen proper (you could ride Snowmass, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands) was the last hold out here.
