It's got a built in 2A fuse.

I'm not sure if I what you are suppose to do is the following.

Pull the fuse I want to use. Stick it in ( there are two spots, totally confused by that ** that's what she said)
Hookup the crimped section and when I turn the key, i should have power. But it doesn't power on.

Or if it's cut the existing 2a use out and use the one from the fuse panel only.

I'm sure i'm overlooking something.
