I am a fan of H&R. Suppose its all a matter of opinion. I've heard aftermarket springs cause your struts to fail early. I would just get some coilovers.

I was thinking about that but cant seem to find any good coilovers for under $1500... I found Neuspeed springs for only $280, Also i just want to dropp it for the summer, Once novemeber rolls around ill throw the stock springs back on.

There are some good options on ECStuning. I've heard some really good things about vogtlands too. The guy I bought my car from just upgraded the springs. I'm stuck with that for now :(.
Ill probably get the C/Os in the link below only in the B5 version.

H&R with Bilstein shock combo, perfect drop in my opinion, not too crazy. Couple of different angles I had...

How does it ride with just springs? Is it "bumpy" . Also what brand are your springs?

You can't find any good coilover options for under $1500? How about Tein SS, KW V1, Stasis SS, or if you want a good option under $1000 go for ST's like I did.

I have H&R. Yes, It definitively responds well. I can tell the struts are shot. I'm pretty sure they only have about 20-30k miles on them too. They where done just before I got the car. With that i can say with some form of certainty that using aftermarket springs kills stock struts. But ya i love the springs. I would never buy just springs though. Save and get coilovers. Chances are you aren't going to do the install on it yourself. Installation is going to cost you. Those vogtlands supposedly have 10y warranty on them. You would probably save money in the long run with Coilovers.
