    Thinking about finally jumping in, but would love to get a first-hand comparison between tuned and stock. Thanks a bunch.

    I have a stasis tune on my car. Bought the car with it so I can't tell you a comparison from stock but it puts a smile on my face. I'll have the car out @ Avalon tomorrow around 1:30 for their grand opening BBQ if you want to check it out.

    I was planning on attending this.
    I'm in the same boat, kind of, I'm waiting for delivery of my S4 and planning on getting a stasis tune. I'd love to be able to catch a ride in it if you take it out.

    My 2010 S4 was a European delivery so I got to spend a couple of weeks driving the car (hard) while over there. I was impressed with the car stock. I had the APR (91) tune installed shortly after I collected the car here (Prestige). There certainly was not an "oh my god" momment. The increase in performance is not noticable in daily driving, especially at these rarified altitudes - I live in Boulder. The APR pully is being installed today; it is suppose to boost the mid-range so maybe my 'butt-dyno' will notice. The nice thing about the APR tune is that it smoothes everything out. I ran the car once at High Plains Raceway and was impressed - I plan to go back next month and see what the added changes do.

    Please let us know what you think with the pulley. So far, it sounds like not a great way to spend $1800.

    Yeah personally, at 5000' I would not get the tune since the power improvement is likely a fraction of noted at sea level... but YMMV.

    I picked up my car with the new pulley and gave it a decent test - 3rd, 4th and 5th gear pulls from 2,000 rpm and some hard accelerations runs to the rev-limiter. My butt-dyno tells me this one piece of 'kit' accounts for the single biggest improvement. The car pulled like a stong V8 from way low - I was quite surprised. I agree with "Snoroller" about the "tune." I would only do it in conjunction with the pulley. By itself it just doesn't seem to make much of a difference, considering the mile-high elevation and as we are limited to 91 octane fuel in this area.

    I was also thinking about pulling the trigger on the pulley/tune, but maybe it's worth waiting for someone to release a SC upgrade instead? tyengel's post is encouraging though.

    Not too many supercharged cars at this altitude. Turbos definitely have an advantage.

    @tsheldrake - yes, on Colfax.

    I may take you up on that offer, but hearing that you noticed a significant difference even with the tune already installed is encouraging.
