LOVE IT, the color actually reminds me of Rob's A4 and which is also why I think you should ditch the slit in the hood and go for a Boser hood like rob's, here's a quick (really quick) edit on yours

Nice! I didn't think i would like it during the construction photos but the end product is awesome, love the paint job. Keep the lip as is looks good. Not so sure about the black roof though. What size wheels and tires are on there? Great looking car.

I think the black roof will look nice with the final color but it will be gloss black instead of matte. The wheels are 18x8 et35 with 30mm spacers in the rear and 25mm in the front. The tires are 225 40 18 but maybe the next set of tires I'll go for 235s or 245's as I like that meaty look but it won't be for a while.

I think the idea is to make his car unique, not replicate someone else's. Personally, I don't dig the Boser hood. It obscures most of the headlamps, and pretty much kills the front end. But I appreciate those that rock Boser's.

Some updates:

I did some work on the car the past 10 days, well my buddys from a shop around here did it since I'm always at work.

MECHANICAL WORK
Timing belt, camshaft tensioner, water pump, oil change with Mobil 1 0W-40, cleaned air filter, fuel filter, oil cooler, ross machine racing fuel rail, new coolant tank, added a wideband o2 bung and sensor, a exhaust temp bung and sensor and routed the wires to the center air vents to get ready for my new gauges, cleaned the engine.

SUSPENSION WORK
Changed all front control arms, tie rods, shock mounts, all rear control arm bushings (four 034 spherical bushings and the rest OEM), rear tie rods, rear stabilizers, Stern rear differential bushings, changed rear differential o-rings by the axles, changed my blown KW V3 coil over, front and rear sway bar bushings, got an alignment.

DRIVETRAIN
Changed transmission and differential oil with Mobil 1.

Thanks man but this is only a temporary color so hopefully the one I chose as a final one will look nice too.

A little update. Today me and my buddy made a double din opening for my new head unit and relocated the climate controls. It's not finished yet. The parts still need to be painted and some small details fixed.

No photos but I'll the faceplate off and take some new ones on saturday. The A/C had to be removed from its plastic box to fit but I show you better in the pictures.

A/C controls are perfectly usable. The only problem I found is that if you leave your phone in that area you might hit one of the buttons with it but you don't have to leave the phone there .

I wanted to get measurements and more pics of the faceplate today but didn't get the time because I had to test fit this before the welder does the final weldings and adjustments. All of this was done during launch break from work so when I got back I was all black and dusty :D

To be honest with your car I would go half cage. And also you have great workmanship in Greece and they can do it perfectly. I basically had to make this myself with a welder because there is no specialty shops in Albania.

Seats are in. We took apart the old seats and used the stock sliders and welded some plates to them. We lost the height adjustment and they only go backward and forward. Crazy day from 9 am to 10 pm.

Yep :). And all the doors too. Everything from the windows up will be in black suede. The centers of the seats and door cards will be suede as well.

It's going to match 100% since we are using the same leather for both.
