    Fault Code P1519 / 17927

    On a 2002 S6 (4.2) w/ 75k miles

P1519 - Camshaft Position Actuator Curcuit: Bank 1 Malfunction.

I got this code earlier tonight when I was only 2 miles from home. Car seems to run fine, still pulls hard, no funny noises.
Pulled in garage and scanned it but I don't have a Bentley to diagnose and Ross Tech Wiki doesn't list this code. Timing belt was done almost 10k miles ago so that probably has nothing to do with it.

I searched around here, AW,AF and googled it to death. Best answer I can find is possibly a faulty Cam Position Sensor. The connection seems to be good on the sensor. It's raining cats and dogs here in southeastern, PA so I'll give it a try in the morning.

I'm all for dumping $100 on the part if that's the fix. Would you guys recommend not driving the car? Lucky for me I am picking up an E30 325i in 2 days for a beater / possible track car.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!
