AMAZING Audi ad in the Tuesday Globe and Mail...

it's a massive poster with every significant model in the company's 100 year history (about 60 of them) with the word 'practice' written beneath each.

On the back is a massive picture of the R8 5.2...with the word 'perfect' beneath it.

Incredible advertising. Buy the Globe...I can guarantee you'll want this poster on your wall in the basement or garage. For me, it's the 100 years of models that I'll have facing out. The R8 is nice, but history is far more interesting to me.

I noticed it with the Globe this morning at the Audi dealer. I wasn't sure if it came with the paper or the dealership had put them out.

Certainly not in the subscribers edition in SW Ontario. But then again, we aren't the centre of the universe. Audi has had full page Ads on the back of the G&M A section though. The e-tron was there yesterday.

no, it's very thick

it's not part of the newspaper...it's about the size of a magazine folded up...and about as thick as one too.

paper is like 35lb if you're a nerd who knows what that means

I have 2. One is going up in the garage (the history side)

try Calling globe and mail, I am sure they have tons of extras....

There was an article in the brampton gaurdian about a friend of mine and his race car so we called the gaurdian to ask for extra copies and the lady asked 'how much? 20? 50? 100?'

The gaurdian is obviously not the same caliber as globe and mail but you never know....

I just got the copy dropped off, wow, AOC must have spent a good amount for this level of advertisement.

Would be nice if there was a large poster of this.... I might have to try and digitize a high resolution one before I wreck the thing. Too good to hang in the garage, darn humidity....

If the B5 S4 was to be on there, they would have needed more space, as the B5 would have understeered off the ad as it was just going too fast with way too much boost :)

neither is the B6

the B5 A4 should be on the ad. The S4...great modded car, but not a revolution or anything. The B5 A4 however saved the company. Turned EVERYTHING around after the disastrous late 80s (Audi 5000 anyone?) and the recession riddled early 90s.
