Too bad to hear it didnt fit straight up from them.
I was to order one from them, all ready, talked 3 times over it, and then they found out there wasnt one in the end...Seems it was better that way, and I made a custom one in my country...

As for the smell, in my 1.8T 20vt, it smelled more after 1K miles on the clock and after a short trip...Hope this doesnt happen for you.
