We have VAG-COM's at both of our locations (Clifton and Mountainside, NJ). We can scan/clear codes and perform VAG-COM mods/coding - if you bring the print out of the codes, we can usually knock them out quickly and free of charge!

I work in Haledon and I live in Little Ferry! Just bought a 2011 Q7 and i'm looking to get VIM, windows down with key fob and a few others to my Q. I'm thinking about stopping by soon to see you guys!!

I dont know if this can be attached to the original post but I made a map to locate anyone with a vagcom out there. Put whatever information you want in a marker. I set it so that it can be modified if needed.

It was actually the blank bit under byte 9, for some reason that activated it. Few of the items in the controller are misleading!

I'm in the Bergen county area, I have a fob remote that won't program after changing the battery and the dealer won't do it without bending me over on a new key. Can anyone nearby try programming it for me? I can pay in beer or trident layers.

Hmmm put me in the map i have a vag in queens whitestone if anyone needs u can pm me or what ever... 11357 is my zip code.

Only thing is i did my vag mod but i am not familiar with it so if u need some make sure u come with all u need.

Get the Carista dongle from Amazon and download the app. You have to pay 20$ to use the app so there is an in app purchase. Plug it in to obd port connect with phone and change everything. Very simple and straight forward. Quite a few threads on here about. One in A4 and one in S4, B8 threads. Read up a bit until the dongle gets to ya.

While I'm searching the forum I figured I will ask and see who's around the matawan/aberdeen area. I'm in need of vag help. I've used vagcom in the past but only to code windows and lights and stuff like that so I'm a notice . I've got a ton of codes now that have been read with snap-on type scanners but I feel like I'm missing something that vag could help with. I'm also leaking antifreeze from my flexpipe so my turbo may be bad or possible head gasket. I can bring the car to you or meet midway possibly but I'm trying to avoid going north of the driscoll or Rte 1&9 bridge because the car barely has the acceleration to make it over. Also a good local shop would be nice to know of. Would like to scan before taking it anywhere so I know what to expect. My normal shop is really busy doing performance mods and suspensions and I'm sure my car may be quite an undertaking to get it dependable again.

Haha yeah a lot of food isn't necessary though. I'm kind of on a diet. I don't mind helping out, but it would probably have to be in Manhattan (except on Fridays when I work out of Jersey City). My weekend schedule is kind of packed the next few weekends, but I could probably help out on a weekday after work. Not sure what functionality is available hooking up to a BMW.

Same here but I figured with a German car, it would be the same either way. Yeah in the coming two weeks when I get my schedule set we should figure something out.

Sounds good. I think if anything can be done on a BMW, it will be pretty limited. Ross-Tech mentions some stuff in a beta but not much detail. As long as the BMW owner assumes responsibility for it, I'm game LOL.
