Check Boost through Vagcom?

Can you check boost through the Vagcom software? Or is there any third party program that allows you to check boost via the computer without having to install a boost gauge?

Block 115 on the Vag.com will show requested vs. actual boost.

Select control module, Engine, Meas. Blocks (measuring blocks), in group one put 115 and hit go. When you hit go you should be able to see the numbers show up on the right. After this hit LOG on the bottom right. Set or keep the file name and whenever you are about to hit it, hit start and stop when you are done. This will make it easier so you don't have to search through logs. But boost is pretty easy to read you will see. Let me know if you have any questions.

If is is the correct connector yes. I got a ebay one by my tuner for 10-15 bucs and got the program burned from someone else. I payed like 30 bucs for the ross tech set up :). I can maybe help you find out what cable it is.

Thanks. I got the cable and the software already. I just want to see how my boost is holding. I got chipped last month. I bought APR R1's that had an issue so they put the stocks back in while they sent out the R1's. I want to see if there is a difference when I get the R1's back. Thanks.

Ok, with some help from B5in I was able to log my boost, only issue is I am not sure how to properly read it. I do not know where I should be reading. Here is a short example of what I logged. I had to open this in Wordpad cause I for some reason I couldn't copy and paste out of anything else.

and here it looks like 2170 mBar was your max boost equal to 2.17bar or 31.47 psi
if that block is 115 but im not sure that it is

i think that is your peak boost at 2080 mbar equal to 30.17 psi

thats where i am with my set up

:) 2170mbar equals 1.17bar real pressure. You have to substruct 1000mbar from the above number which is the atmospheric pressure..

You have to open the log file with Excel otherwise it won't make any sense..
