Looking to buy inexpensive rims

I want to buy a set of 17" or 18" rims for my A4. I only want the rims for the looks because my car is lowered on the stock 15" rims and i'm not liking the look. I'm not planning on using these rims on the track nor do i care how much they weigh.

Anyone got any good suggestions of which brand/model rims to get?
Should i buy used rims?

used rims are usually a good deal. There's a guy selling Fat Fives in the Norcal Forum, you should check it out. If you want new rims foor a good price, Flik Justices are pretty lightweight and worth the money.

I check the AZ classifieds periodically as there are constantly great deals. If you are going for purely cosmetics, then get 18" wheels (lightweight is always better. there is actually a GB for OZ wheels currently in the GB section). When I get my wheels (hopefully this summer), I will check AZ classifieds like a hawk waiting for a nice set to come along.

On a side note, the ones I really want are $2,200+shipping.<<<<<Not going to happen anytime soon.

I usually watch Discount Tire's ebay site since that is where they sell the returned wheels that people decided on not getting.

Picked up my 17's and a set of barley used Yokahama Avid H4S's for under $500. Nothing on there right now, but always worth it to keep checking back.

also check the vw and audi classifieds on vortex, i picked up a set of used 18 in flick artics last winter for 125 for all 4. just keep your eyes open and dont mind waiting a bit, youll find something youll really like for a good price. also if they happen to be 5x110 or 5x114, you can probably get away with wobble bolts

Decent deal, id go for avus if I were you just because they can clear bigger calipers. That and its a stupidly strong wheel, I got 5 for 300. =D, with tires.
