    Question knock-knock

    car makes a knocking sound when car is in drive and not moving. but if you give it a little gas while holding brake it goes away. a mechanic said it wasn't from in the motor. got the same response from a freind of mine too. also hard to tell exactly where the sound is coming from. timing belt changed at 92k but sound still there. anybody dealt with this sound?

    never would of thought it was a motor mount.

    I would also bet on the motor mounts.
