New Big Brake Options for your A6 !

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Rotora has just released a new front BBK for the A6 including Quattro C6 in either 14" 2 piece rotor, 6 piston caliper fitment. Or the monster 15" 2 piece rotor 8 piston fitment for extreme applications. This is a complete bolt-on fitment with everything needed for installation included. With caliper color options of red or blue and rotor choices of slotted or drilled/slotted, the kit can be tailored to your taste at no additional cost. Of course, wheel fitment would need to be reviewed at the time of purchase.
    Key Features:
Rotora billet aluminum alloy 8 piston racing calipers with sequentially sized piston bore sizes engineered to each specific vehicle.
Rotora billet aluminum hat with "floating" disc assembly to reduce heat related stress and unsprung weight.
Rotora 2 piece vented heat treated directional vane disc system to improve airflow/cooling under severe braking. Slotted or drilled & slotted oversize discs (380x34mm) to ensure equal heat dissipation and increase thermal capacity while relieving the disc and brake pad surface free of excess debris.
Rotora ceramic formulated pads designed for extreme street and track application with high co-efficient of friction and high temperature fade resistance.
Rotora DOT compliant stainless steel braided brake lines to improve stiffer pedal feel and prevent brake hose expansion.

Retail priced at just $2425 for the 14" and $3325 on the 15", feel free to contact me for forum pricing, availability, and fitment.

Damn! Looks sweet, also, very cool to see some more ish for the A6's

It's so much easier to suggest solutions when you don't know too much about the problem.

You guys need to fix your website, it is not car specific at all. I entered my car info and it showed me things for a Cadillac CTS

i wish brakes were cheaper, its just not worth it unless you have a 9 second car to slow down..=/..but you want them just to have them...so for most of us a6 guys, i feel those brakes would only value at 600 bucks worth of use lol

    Responses coming...

As far as the website, it is simple, you select your make, let it load, then select model, and let it load. If you get all jumping and start pressing buttons, it wont filter.

Brakes can be color matched to you preference for an additional fee, let me know if you'd like to get a set painted and I'll be sure to take care of you.

Re: New Big Brake Options for your A6 !

It's all about what you want. I would categorically disagree with comments that BBk are not worth it. Audi is known for building great cars with untapped potential. Add boost, suspension, etc. and the HP2's start to just adequate with no reserve.
I put a set of StopTech 332x32 brake set and they are significantly superior to stock.
Do I need it? Well, I may track the S6 as a car to give student rides. They work much better on the street, I don't feel they are marginal anymore.

Brakes definitely add to safety margin in normal driving, and I am sure a marked improvement on the track. Pedal modulation with a 4 piston setup is far superior to the sliders on these cars.
