    Front brakes only?

Well, it's time. I need to do my brakes. The wear pad sensor hasn't activated yet, but they are due. I'm sure it'll come on now that I said that. With that being said I have a question. The only part of the brakes that really need it are the front brakes. The rears are still good and the pad it still fine as well. How bad is it to just do one set of brakes on these cars? Will it affect the braking any? Never really had to deal with that in VWs.

I've been through three different sets of pads on the fronts (some of it just switching between track and street use), and still haven't touched the rear pads.

Just bed the new pads properly and you'll be fine.

    Re: Front brakes only?

Just changed my front pads and rotors last week and left the back alone... They wont interfere with eachother by just doing one or the other. Just do what needs to be done. But bed the new pads properly!!!!!

I would do the fronts, but service the rears. change the fluid too.
