I tried shooting mark a PM about these manifolds a while back when he posted up the pictures from them. I never got a response so I'm assuming they are a custom order part for big buck$$. BTW, they told me an rs4 widebody conversion is $20K, lol.

Yep, that's pretty much the same response I received. They say if you have to ask, you can't afford it. Man, they must not know that I sell rocks, and I'll pay cash money for it.

Man that's so weak... I would never ever buy a product from someone with that kind of snobbish attitude. It's a god damn intake manifold, not a bugatti..... unless this is like a $20k manifold???

Re: whats the word on these types of manifolds...any idea??

I figure the manifold is 400-500 for the rs4 mani.
It's probly 6+ hours of labor to cut off the bottom, port out the housing and reweld the larger plenum. I don't know what the autospeed labor rates are but I'd be willing to bet that the labor would be 800-1000.

The SP turks manifold was nice but wasn't ground breaking by any means(looked like he took a dremel to the inside). There is a thread that shows autospeed's manifold vs. spturk's and you can really see the work autospeed put into it.

I'm not trying to bash SPturks or autospeed. The autospeed product has plenty of time and effort into the fabrication but the $1xxx bill is hardly worth the gains.

Your best bet is to have a local machine shop do it. The inside of our manifolds are so Fuck3d you couldn't do any damage as long as the fabricator is a competent welder and can put the bottom back on with strong welds.

If justin wants 600 then autospeed must be a fortune. Where is this thread with the comparison pictures, justin can you post pictures interested in this, and why are you selling your building your motor don't see why you wouldn't want it still if it works.

I can take pictures tomorrow, it is still on my car, i need to take it off. I am having a custom intake manifold made, fully fabbed plenum and all..

Turks mani is nice, with phenolic spacers, it fits the secondary pump under it still. I would be running it myself if i didnt have a good buddy helping me make a new one.

What are you guys talking about?

Someone asked on AW, Frank replied. its not that bad.. they said about $450-500 bucks, since its all labor related. + the 01 mani of course that you supply.

You could just find a welder and do it yourself though, its not that difficult.

I guess no one finds humor funny anymore. My comments were to be taken as a joke. However, when I request information on a part and its price, as a consumer I expect to know that info to make an informed decision on whether or not I want to purchase it.

Read the thread a few more times if you can't figure it out. Multiple people have asked Mark how much this costs and have not gotten a response. He even posted a thread which I linked talking about how his product is the best, then when we asked about price...no response. F*ck it, after reading the horror stories about that 3.0gt allroad they built(like 4 times) I'll take my business elsewhere.

He could have been just following the forum rules and not posting prices, as he is not an advertiser.
