So i came home late last night, parked my car in front of my house (street parking). Didn't take the car out at all during the day, go to get into my car to drive to the wifys place at about 7pm and notice a huge dent in the rear drivers side door

Its been snowing like mad here in Vancouver so i first thought somebody just drove into it and took off. Well upon closer inspection there were no other tire tracks near my car, just foot prints. Dusted off the snow on the car, found no scratches, scrapes, smears or marks. Just one huge dent covering pretty much the entire rear door and one small dent in the upper part of the door near the window. It was defiantly deliberate as there had to have been allot of force put into it to make that kind of dent. It looks like it was from somebody's foot

I'm just fucking pissed off, I don't have the slightest clue who would have done this.

People need to grow up, if you have a problem come talk to me face to face. I hope for their sake i don't find out who it was....

It's pretty bad. It's so bad that at a few of the creases the paint has flaked off, and my door handle is all mangled because of it to. Cant even open the door from the outside.

There is a guy in Surrey, that can get dings/dents like that out for about 75 dollars~. PM me if you need the contact, i'll have to look it up. I think he can actually come to your house to do it.

My friend's bimmer had him take out a bunch of dings without a scratch or bodyshop.

sounds like its bigger than just a ding/dent. his paint is chipping and his door handle wont work

the far most right crease/ding and the handle area take alot of force to do that.. even if someone was thrown at ur car.. it'd cave in, but not as much.. kinda weird. thats a bitch a half... does ur door open and close freely? is it possible that they tried to tow ur car cus u parked on the street for snow removal.. and they somehow danged it, freaked out and left.

I live on a flat and straight street.

Its all street parking along the side of my road. And there is ample space between the outer side of my car when parked to where the cars travel on the road. I would say a good 6ft at least between my car and the travel path on the road. With that much space there's a bunch of fresh snow in between. I didn't see any car tracks, just foot prints.....

What ever it was it took allot of force to do that amount of damage.

The door handle on the outside is pooched, cant even lift it up. The door does open and close with no problems from the inside tho.

What kind of alarm do we have on our cars? Proximity, shock, tilt....?

I'm just trying to figure out if my alarm went off when that happened. Not like i would of herd it anyway (stupid Audi and there near silent alarm).

you will have to break the glass, reach in, and open the door from the inside to get it to go off.

someone correct me if i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure.

There is another type of sensor not sure what its called but, it'll sense if something in the car is moving around. Next to the tilt sensor button is a button for this as well. Try it out, put the windows down and lock the car. Wait a couple minutes then reach in the car and just wave your hands around for a bit. It'll go off eventually.

This worked perfectly for both my sisters' cars. The bigger the dent, the better it works. Given how cold it is up there, you're probably going to have to heat it up really well before applying the liquid nitrogen.

My buddy had the same thing happen to him.....long story short he was parked in a parking lot at the local mountain and somebody skied into the side of his car. It ended up costing him like 800 dollars to get it all fixed.

Called the insurance company.

Told them it was either an act of vandalism or a hit and run.

I have to go in at 7:30am tomorrow to get the estimate done.

Maybe if i take it to the dealer to get fixed ill get a new a4 loaner for a while....
