So... what color calipers

Time for pads, rotor work (rear -- fronts have some pads left, so I'll hit them in spring/summer probably, though tempted not to wait) so I may as well do caliper powdercoat while i'm at it.

Ming Blue C5 -- red? amber? (I inherited clear corners, though I think amber corners look good on Ming) turqoise? other?

I have S4 winters on now, but most of year it's these:

Check out the B5 S4/RS4 forum for a thread about RS4 avants. There's a nice blue on there with yellow calipers.

Bitch to keep clean though. Mine are yellow, but I'd do it again......

I don't think yellow would look good on Ming. I would like to see a photochop of amber. Never seen that before, might look pretty good. Could always do papaya orange as well :-P

Just my .02, but red on anything but smooth caliper surfaces, i.e Brembo, Alcon, Stoptech, looks like ass after a while, when the rough surfaces pick up all the dirt and grime.

i use silver with audi on them, it looks factory, go silver OR you can be original and do somthing like dark gray or blue like the color of the car......just don't do yellow! lolz

I do think that red just makes it look like you ant brembos but cant afford it unless u have a red car then your just color matching :-) but if you really want red might as well front all the way:

Try something different. I did. Blue rocks, I love mine. I think they go great with the ming. I was aiming for R32 but ended up with a lighter color. I like them because they are unique, nobody has them, and it being a luxery car, I didnt want super catchy like red, just something sporty that still had some class. Thats my 2 cents, BLUE! Sorry, I have a habit of pic whoring, lol.
