aftermarket stereo in a6

ive looked alittle but all seem to be overseas, i need a harness for an aftermarket cd player in my car with a factory bose amplified system. 02 a6 2.7t. im installing an avic-d3.

finally installed! pioneer avic-d3. the wiring harness i recieved was wrong. i had to modify some of the pins.

looks good. How do you like the radio?

it sounds great. im amazed at how well the stock speakers sound with a different head unit. avic411 showed me how to bypass the dvd playing while driving, and navigation works fine. i still need a place to put the xm radio box and route it all somewhere.

i figured mine would too. i had the symphony 2 system with front and rear amplified by the bose system or whatever. the new head unit really makes it sound great, i was thinking of upgrading them until i put this in.

Im with you on that, but I do miss the navi,mp3,oh and dvds lol.....but I do think it matters what kind of dash kit you use i found a few that make after market radios look good.

^^^I have nav, dvd, and my ipod hooked up to my RNS-E, I always prefer to keep it factory which is why I chose the RNS-E

sure, but some of the led lights are out. it works fine along with the 6 cd changer.

Haha, wtf your cup holder cap falls off also? Isn't it annoying. Nice head btw

came like that, and the rear window visor doesnt come up anymore, it clicks. something in the front suspension is rattling, still havent put in my foglight, needs headlights :( its in pain right now
