What mods do you have with the 1+? Which injectors? Test pipe? Exhaust?

You should upgrade your DV. You can get a plastic OEM replacement which is the 710N or you can get an aftermarket one from Forge which is the ones that alot of people here use, and thats called the Forge 007.

If your just hearing a louder turbo spool, then ur fine. You may have boost leaks now that your boost has more than doubled from factory

    Re: APR Stage 1+ installed...

well louder turbo would make sense because ur pushing more air. I noticed this to when i went 1+, i would just do a visual check on the boost lines and swap that DV for a 710N or another upgraded DV...

Were you Stage 1 before, or did you go straight to 1+? If you were already Stage 1 and now you're noticing the noise, I would think it is some kind of leak.

Do you have a boost gauge? What are your vac/boost numbers?

Sorry to thread jack, but is there a big advantage that the Forge 007 has over the 710N? The Forge one seems to sell for a lot more.

the advantage of the forge is that it's a piston type dv, the 710n is a diaphragm and can tear eventually. Piston dv's need to be maintained however. the 710 is perfect for 1+ setups
