Anyone running K04 with speedtuning??

I've bought a Used K04 (thanks Yev) and now I'm looking for software for it.
This is easier said than done as I have a 1996 european A4.

My options:
-Speedtuning price 200$ (require 4-bar FPR, exhaust and intake)
-Upsolute price 500$ (require 4-5 bar FPR, exhaust and intake)

And no giac or atp haven't got a program for my car.

Anyone using Speedtuning or Upsolute?
Review/opinions please!

Don't forget MTM which requires the 5 bar, exhaust & more. They actually may not even sell the software by itself in Europe. You could always try QS Tuning in the UK.

Actually, MTM sells software for my car but it's 2000$ so it's a bit over priced

I am using speedtuning but not with a ko4. I am not even sure they have a ko4 file. I am very pleased with my tune from them. If they offer a ko4 file, then I would def use them

So your using their ST2 software with the standard K03/k03s?
The software they had for me was also ST2 and they said it will bosst 1.3-1.4 bar.
Have you got a 4bar FPR aswell? That is what they told me to get or a adjustable one!

i have a speedtuning flash as well, and am very happy with it. i have the stage 2 file, which i think the same as a 93 octane file (as compared to a stage 1 91 octane) and not refering to a K04 file. I have talked with them and they do offer a K04 file, (at least for the atw) . pretty sure they are based out of Austria, so you should have fairly good support being in europe. fwiw If i ever rebuild my ko4 and put it in my car, i am going with speedtuning.

I'll probably go for Speedtuning then.
I'll install the K04 tomorrow so if that goes well and the turbo runs nicely I will be getting the software.

i got ST probably stg2 and my car seems slow now.... like normal boost 150hp slow...

can a car adapt / tweak itself out of a tune if its not run right or wat

I hope Oliver does not take this the wrong way, but i was told by a VERY reputable tuning company who has helped with my logs, trying to figure out the problem with my stg2 tune, etc.. that if a file is wrote poorly, your car will adapt it out. I am not sure the stg 2 was wrote for nDBW cars, thus why so many of us are having problems with it. I know personally, 3 people who got stg 2 on their 99.5's and now they cant get more then 10-11 psi out of it.

So i contacted Oliver and got the 1.1 bar file. Its so smooth, it feels like it should of been there stock. i see intially 15 psi in each gear, from there, it creeps to about 17-18psi and holds it till at least 5500. i havent really beat the car since i got retuned.

Check ur DV, and vaccum lines. More boost=exacerbated minor problems.

also worthwhile is to get a boost gauge, just to see exactly where your boost is to where it was, or where it should be. you could be in limp mode.

I got the turbo installd yesterday and it runs great. Took me about 6h.
But today I noticed that when I floor it the boost goes up to 1.6 bars and rapidly falls to 0 and the up again. It does this until i let off the gas.

Shouldn't the software limit the boost to 1bar as it did before the turbo change?
Is this harmfull to the engine?

I also noticed that ifd I slowly accelerate to about 400 rpm and after that floor it it holds about 0.8bar as it should.

I ment 4000 rpm not 400...
It could probably be a vacum leak... but all the hoses seem fine.
Could I have put the N75 the wrong way? I don't think so but who knows.
