Yet again , an Allroad front bumper post!

Ok so im looking at doing a Allroad front bumper on my 2.7T , heres the main problem...where the bottom of the hood grill meets the bumper, do they differ from a non-facelift to a facelift?? they look about the same, the pics below explain this.

2003 Allroad


2003-2004 RS6/S6/4.2/2.7T (all the same)


98-2001 C5 A6


so what im saying is....im pretty sure the allroad bumper will fit a 98-2001 A6 , with the hood grills being all the same,but what about my 2004 Facelift car? .... to me i don't see why not, and im sure i can cut/mod the bumper a bit if needed , tell me what you guys think? also if anyone has had a Allroad bumper off, can you explain the mounting brackets and support brackets....ect , im just wondering if they are the same as a A6 , along with the under panel, thanks!

exactly, those few spots would either not fit, look ugly, or both.

Frank, just get a used or broken one as a test. Try it and see if you can make it work.

Try the salvage yards near you that way you can eleminate shipping cost.

I can also post on my local forum and see if anyone has one.

also allroad bumper is shorter, meaning, its like a Euro spec bumper so you might need a euro bumper support...

Hey Frank, I see you are running further with the idea I posted about and decided against that RS6 bumper.. The Allroad one would look great. The reason I bailed on it was a match for the rear bumper since they are Euro style & shorter.. Whats your plans for rear?

Wow! Thats hot in many ways.. He only wants $450 for Allroad headlights! I paid $850 for mine :( But mine are flawless, they looked new.. Someone grab them though! And I bet he would sell all the bumper stuff cheap...

i got off the phone with OEMplus.com ecs tuning.com.... and got nowhere. i know the headlight,grilles,..ect. are the same. only thing that seems to be different is the bumper ( odv).
