    It could be because the tips aren't long enough.

    I think nearly everybody using M-flows has 2.5" pipe (that one is for 2.25), and then custom tips. By the way, you guys should check out "dotcomparts" -- great discount pricing for such components if anybody decides to go that route (and then thank Endee for being my source on that). Less than $100 for #14256 vs. $195 list.
