Just in case someone doesn't know, these fit the A6 2.7T right? Would they also be applicable to the 2.8?

I don't see a reason why they would not, but we haven't done a test fit so I cannot be completely sure. They work with both the A6 2.7T and A4 2.8, so they should be fine.

How difficult is it to change the mounts?

You have to loosen things up in the engine bay and lift the motor itself with a jack to give you room to remove the stock mounts and get the RS4 engine mounts in place. Once you have them installed, reverse the process.

The factory service manual should outline everything you need to do to access the mounts.
