i have a white USP... i am toying around with some wild ideas.. i like to stand out and be well weird and different.

so what i am thinking of doing is taking my stock USP wheels. powdercoat/paint them red/flat red.... for that gt3 look and

here it comes...

add a set of good quality (street glow gold series, ive had them and they are great qualit, i had them on my ML truck befor i could drive, i thoguht they were cool haha)

and i am thinking to put red underbody neons on the audi...

yes i know i know... someone is going to post a fast and furious pic.. but yeah i am really thinking about that. might add a cool touch to it.

Powdercoat the rims red or matte. See if you can do something with the brakes. Also if you want neon put neon, I am personally against it though.

let's ignore whether neon lights should be on an Audi for a second; in winter, the neons will be knocked out and broken. think abou this, where are you gonna mount the neon bars so you can be sure that they will not be broken ?

You could mount plexiglass or lexan to block the neons from damage but why would you want to do that. I think if rocks break your neons then you should thank the rocks.

hahaha this thread is quite funny. i think that the flat red on the wheels might turn out ok. Heres an idea that my friend had for neons that you might want to consider. Hook them up in a way that they are always off except for when you turn on your turning signal, that side of the car will flash the neons, just like the rear taillights do when you turn on the turn signal. That would have to be almost one of a kind. What do you think?

My view on neons: If you can't see the bars themselves and the light does not come out solely underneath the bar but rather spreads out some, I don't mind them.

I would only use them for show though seeing as though you'd get pulled over instantly if they're on while the cars moving. Also definately take into account that they can get destroyed by rocks/winter.

As for the wheels, I agree with capt. obvious that they'd have to be gloss. Possibly a red pin stripe down the side of the car too.

anyway.. about the neon idea.. yeah i scratched it.. and to thepoepl saying you shoul do whateer you want and blah blah.. i do whatever i want, but its always niceto see others point of view and then you can look back and say.. hmm. i never thought of that.. and thats how it is with this.. i never thought about the winter and rock chips and im like, eh.... the biggest thing that made me not want them.. is one someone said... wit hte blinkers and when i turn etc etc... ok ok i get the point it would look like crap! not doing it... now on to the wheels i forgot his member name but like 977s10 or 97s10 he photoshopped a bunch of wheels in a old thread of mine, and he did areally good photoshop. can someonje photoshop STOCK usp wheels in red (flat/matte or gloss) on a white USp please.. please please please please.

Imo, i think white cars are great for putting colored wheels on, like gold, black, gun metal, and I guess even red.

colored neon tubes belong on billboards and jukeboxes.
