My friend burnt a hole in my passenger door armrest so i decied to change up the interior from the plaid to black suede. I was able to get one door done tonight and it will probably take a couple of weeks to get the whole job done seeing as I dont have a whole lot of time having two jobs. I will post up pics of the interior completed but for now here is a pic of the rear door.

    Before:

    After:

    Comments welcome.

    And i can't spell Teaser

I was surprised i was able to keep working the suede to get all the wrinkles out of the bends, not a wrinkle in it

Whats up man, thanks. Its black suede from Jo-Anne fabrics. Hopefully it holds up well, time will tell.

Finally got around to completing the rest of this. Overall I am very happy how it turned out. Much more classy and clean looking then the plaid. Here are the end results. Coments welcome.

When you take the door panel off you will see oval shaped plastic tabs that are melted to hold the panel in. What I did was take a soldering gun and melted the center of them out then used a flat screwdriver to pop them lose. Theres is also one screw that holds the door handle on, after that is removed and all the plastic tabs are free its just pulls off.

I completly got rid of the old fabric and the foam behind it so im hoping that it should stay on pretty good being that it is just glued to the bare plastic.
