    What DV to choose?

I know it has been talked about several times, but there are so many threads and I have so little time.....:)
Should I go for the OEM 710n, Forge, AWE or APR DV?
    I have a stage1 BSR tuned 1.8TQ.

So many to choose from. They're all better than stock if that helps :)
I run a Forge SPLT-R and have a Bailey Motorsports DV waiting to be put in (just for a change).

    Re: What DV to choose?

If I was buying new Id probably go with the AWE b/c its still a diaphragm design. As I bought used, I have a Forge en route to me as I type. I'd rather not deal with the grease hassle, but once every 8-10k miles isnt THAT bad and it was significantly cheaper than a new part.

    Re: What DV to choose?

True, the APR won't need service, it will just need to be replaced when it starts mooing.

I have the adjustable Forge 007. Once you remove the stock DV with its PITA clips, it's not so bad to grease the Forge every now and then - I just zip tied the thin vac hose and worm clamped the other two. Won't be that bad to service.

    Re: What DV to choose?

They will all do the same job, but I recommend Baileys DV30. Its maintenance free and lifetime warrantied. Mine has been holding 20+ lbs of boost for over 2 years. I've never touched it since installation.

    Re: What DV to choose?

it depends, are you ever going bigger than stage 1? if not, go with a 710N, it'll be perfect and dirt cheap. Do you want to hear it? BOV, recirc, adjustable for recirc/bov?
