I got offered 20 grand, should i take it?

Hey guys,

I put my car up on craigslist for 20k just to see if anyone would actually pay that, and i get a call yesterday for a guy who is willing to take the car asap and buy it outright. Somehow this just came one to me way to quick and i dont know what to do. I know 20k is probably a really good price for this thing right now, but i just need some support on whether i should do it or not.

2004 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro UltraSport
Black on Black 6 speed manual
54,000 Miles

Hell yeah. Why would you ask 20K then second guess your asking price?
Make sure he doesnt want to give you a cashiers check or anything weird like that.

If I was you I'd take it, its more then you should be getting for it. And if you OK with getting another car take it, but if your car has been problem free, then it makes it a little tougher to get rid of.

Im not really second guessing the price, im just sad that i bought Quattro for the winter and i havent even been able to drive it in the snow yet lol. But i know that i wouldn't get this offer again after winter :(

Start looking at what you can get for $20K thats faster with no mods. That'll be some motivation. But yeah, I'd sell for that price. You can still come back and visit.....traitor...lol.

I see what your saying....but I HIGHLY doubt anyone else would offer you even close to 20K

Im just saying, if you have the oppurtunity to sell it for close to 20k then I would get rid of it asap.

Steve, if he's willing to stick to the $20k and has the finances to back up the offer, that's an awesome deal. It'd be sad to see you leave the Audi family so soon, but if your heart is still yearning for the BMW, then it's understandable and good.

Thanks Paul, the guy said he has the money to buy it outright, so i know its somewhat serious. I will be sad to sell the audi, HOWEVER, i will not leave the audi "group" haha. I love the croud and meets we have so i will definatly stick around!

I absolutely love RWD in the winter, i used to have a 1993 325is and a 1997 328is and they are sooo much fun in the winter...i love goin down the streets sideways in the snow lol.
The only reason i bought the audi was so i can do cyclones in the snow hahah

definitely take $20k, that is a good price.. i am only getting $10,500 for my '02.. and it took 3 months to sell it..
