    Re: Carbon Fiber Hoods

they actually dont weigh a WHOLE lot less. cant say im a huge fan of any of those.. too much going on, definitely a little bit ricey with dual air inlets and ridges and such.

    Re: Carbon Fiber Hoods

None of those look good imo, if you're going with a CF hood, I would just stick with the simple OEM design, ie no vents, grills, etc...

Vorsteiner, who the hell wouldn't want one, BTW NACCA ducts are very functional reguardless of their riceness... although I do agree with you on the seperation between rice and class, and one last thing, what the hell kind of hood is that first one???? it might as well not be installed on a car.

    Re: Carbon Fiber Hoods

The stock hood is alot heavier then the cf ones, try taking out your hood shock and see. Fiber images is one of the best IMO i got a good deal on a vented one and love it.. But i do need to create some sort of a plug incase it rains really hard.

Anyways all these vented and grilled cf hoods do look a bit ricey... I prefer something that resembles the stock hood but cf.

I would rock a CSL style cf hood if they made one:

    Re: Carbon Fiber Hoods

I considered this one for a while:

Decided against it for now until I see it on another car, painted. Plus, I'd rather not have to rock hood pins on my car.
