Ok, so I noticed my boost only going to 14psi about 3 weeks ago and I took the car into the shop to have it checked out. Turns out I my jet suction pump was bad so I swapped it out along with a new MAF. I looked for a leak with the tech and found absolutely nothing (still a leak and a bov noise). I told them I would continue to check on my own and come back later, so I went home (in stock mode) and made the A4mods boost leak tester and ran a check. I only put about 12psi into the system, but didn't dump it and I though I heard a noise from the DV, so I went back today and he swapped it out for me and we took another drive. I prev. had the car in stock mode so I switched it back to pump for the test and found now it wont boost over 5psi but the dv sounds a bit better (the internal piece on my Baileys was closing extremely slow). Back in the shop we found the crankcase hose on the upper right of the engine was stuck open so we clamped it and went out driving again. Now the car is boosting 14psi again but it still has a loud intake noise while its building boost.
Codes today minus misfires on 1,3, & 4 and o2 sensor related codes:
17535 - Fuel Trim (Long term something) too rich
16634 - ?
Any imput on something else I should check. Also where can I find a compressor that I can build boost in and just dump it into my system for <$40?
