i priced the black plastic pins from audi as seen in the pic....over 3 dollars each! FOR A PIECE OF PLASTIC! what the hell!

he means wait until you blow a coilpack cause they're expensive at the dealer, so get them cheaper online and carry spares with you at all times

always have a full spare set of 4 in the trunk. in the past i have found that once one dies the rest are right behind it so i just replace all 4 and keep the extras in the garage for when the economy collapses and our dollar is to week to purchase anymore.

pulled my belly pan along time ago and never put it back, it's a pain in the ass.

yeah I just keep it around for winter/mud season, gets nasty without it. I can also take it off, service my dv, and put it back on in about 7 minutes without even lifting the car

Local dealer charges 10% more than online... Hardly worth having it shipped. CP's are cheap...

it's the full hour of labor they want to charge that gets me. takes less then 60 seconds each.

and you will want to have them in the car for when they go or your going to be limping along, 30 on the highway isn't fun, :( not to mention it's not good for your cat to be dumping unspent fuel into like that.....

Ya that's what I'm confused about got R revision at stealer for 23 bucks. What is expensive about a 23 dollar ignition component?

anyone know where to get a replacement bellypan? i was just under my car yesterday searching for a mysterious rattle (turned out an exhaust hanger broke :() but im missing like 4 of these stupid screws and my bellypan is all scuffed and theres a big hole in it lol

whats so hard about cutting the old ones and just putting new ones when your done? it would be just as hard ad screwing and unscrewing the platic pins that dont click most of the time and fall off with vibrations

Audi dealer down here charges $42 for CP and the VW dealer charges $32. SoB

i paid A LOT for a replacement coil pack from the dealer. it was over 50...probably 56? or more.

i am now using Hitachi E's after replacing A FULL SET of standard coil packs. which also blew.

the Hitachi E's have been holding solid like everybody has stated.

i really don't want to ziptie the bottom. where do the plastic clips go? can i just use the steel ones in their place?

oh btw, i got my belly pan from genuineaudiparts.com best price i could find. around 123?

I don't know, I've never had one give me problems (fall off, not screw in all the way) I'd be blowing through zipties like a whore
