Mixed mpg of 28? I don't think so, unless you are FrontTrack.

I cant beat my car up too much becuase of my clutch so I drive like a granny until next week.. when my clutch goes in.... The other day I was beating on it around town and was getting 22mpg but the clutch started slipping...

But I can tell you when my plugs were fouled and my af ratio was 11.5 at idle..... and 10.1 at WOT My car averaged about 20mpg on the highway and 14 mixed....

Re: MPG V. what do you get

MPG greatly depends on each car, its mods, driving habits, city vs. highway, traffic tensity, total idle time, outside temperature, total weight, the condition of the car, maintenance, tires used, and so on... Its hard to compare everybody's MPG like that.

In city driving I get about 13-15 MPG, and 50/50 I get about 19-20 MPG, I have not done any 100% highway yet. Downtown Montreal is the worse you can get for city driving. Sometimes I idle more than I drive that its not funny. Once on the highway my MPG seems like it doubles all of a sudden.

hwy im next to 40mpg. maybe 37mpg. 7.1L/100km works out to be 40mpg. I was averaging 7.4L/100 last weekend. Mixed is clearly less.

of course you cant compare them very well, it was more out of curiosity than anything. i have had my car for about 2 months, going to change the plugs and fuel filter soon and was thinking about the difference it will make (if at all) so i figured i would ask here...

    Stock 2003 1.8T quattro tiprtonic 75,000 miles

The dash computer says I get 28 mpg average. I fill up at about 430 miles. I've never really stretched the tank. Could probably get 450+ if I ran it down really empty.

I get 0, I just turn my car on, bust out a beach chair and get drunk while watching it idle all day. Then I have to literally run to the gas station to pick up some.. gas, and fill her up again.
