This is probably the last time you will see my car for quite awhile.



NO, I didn't sell it, it's just going away soon for a few months to get some more paint and body work done and hopefully a whole new interior.

And, I got another set of wheels to tide me over for the winter. Nothing crazy, just something cheap and different while I decide what I want to do next.

I couldn't find my camera, so a cell phone pic will have to suffice for now.

They're just Portawall inserts. They didn't play well with the tires though... they disintegrated on the freeway this morning once I hit 70mph. Only one tire still has a white wall at the moment...

There's another $100 down the drain...

They make a special paint for tires to make them white walls, I'm gonna have to pick some of that stuff up and do it that way. This car is such a pain in my ass!

They're not permanent, just something to rock for the winter while the car is in the shop. Also, I'm selling all of my wheels to pay for this next round of mods to the car so I don't have to dip into the savings as much.

I just prefer the fishbowl look is all. I've considered tinting the windows, but I just haven't gotten around to it. And if I do tint them, I'm only going to do a very light tint (like 70%) to keep the car cooler when it's in the sun.

The timing chain guides took a crap on me, so it's sitting in my driveway with a torn apart engine. Darrick is not a happy camper about it to say the least. Once the engine is back together and I can drive it again, the Audi goes into the shop.

my friend has those wheels on a red 68 square with a black roof on airbags and a custom 2 tone interior. I like these wheels more than your old ones. But they look so much more pimp on a square.
