c.e.l?? how??

i jus got my car chipped with unitronic. unitronic chip does not require cats. i put test pipe in b4 chip and no c.e.l... after the chip my c.e.l light went on.. what could the problem be??

maybe you should see what the code is.

you might have a CEL for a legitimate reason

Is your car acting weird? Misfiring? If yes, then prolly a common problem- vaccum leak. Anyways, get it scanned to see what causes the problem.
P.S. How come u didnt have a CEL after putting a Testpipe with no flash? Did u use spacers?

My guess is you had the the cel from the TP and it just took some cycles for it to come on. How long had the cat been eliminated before getting chipped?

Definately get it scanned to know for sure what's throwing the CEL. Sometimes, you simply need to clear it out and see if the code returns before determining what's wrong.

that's like saying "i got an error in windows, whats wrong with it?".
we need to know what the error (code) was in order to help you diagnose it.

in 3rd and 4th i hold about 17psi. once i hit 5300 rpm my car boggs and the psi goes down to like 10. what causes that?

a very small turbo will cause that

so i rescanned my car to see why my C.E.L is on. it says catylic converter and the code is PO 420. my chip is suppose to clear the cat cel. any ideas why this happening?

When I went through Unitronic the first time, the guy who chipped it told me the same thing, and it never did clear it. Try a O2 fouler. You can find them on ebay for about $10

yup i gto unitronic and the guys said that to. yu got stage 1+? and any fouler is good? like they universal?

After a week on my unitronic, I decided to go a different route and got my Unitr. tune deleted and went to GIAC, thought it would be more user friendly. I'm just Stage 1 GIAC 93 Octane, with a TP. I bought a fouler like this one on Ebay but have yet to install it...
