So my battery has served faithfully for 5 almost 6 years and about 60K and is due for replacement. I have seen guys running optimas and even someone running and odessy. What are some of you running with? Anyone have pictures of how they fit the new battery?

    Re: Battery choices

Im running a yellow-top(35 series) with no issues. I used the mounting block that came with the battery and it hasnt moved at all since I've put it in. One thing to note is that the stock battery has a vent tube connected to it to remove any gas that might come because of the acid... dont worry about that as it is not needed for the optimas.

    Re: Battery choices

Can you mount the optima batteries upright or do they have to be put on their sides?
