So I pulled my door apart, hoping that the horrible crunching sounds of the broken regulator was the cable running along the plastic piece. Really was hoping I could repair the plastic and slap it back together. Obviously not.
When I took the motor off, I found that the cable had actually gotten completely out from behind the white wheel and got in between the motor gears and the white wheels gears. Luckily no teeth broke or stripped.
Is this the correct part # I need? 8E0837461C
Genuineaudiparts.com comes up with 4 listings for that part number, 2 a4 and 2 s4... I'm guessing every one of them is the same. They really need to add pictures to the parts.
Looks like I'll be getting a sweet birthday present
