should only be around 80 I believe for the precut vinyl. Makes your life easier than buying from autobahn because you dont have to worry about cutting to the curve or cutting out the sunroof.

    Re: Roof Overlays

I will be taking my car to a shop next week to have them measure the whole car for a wrap. I guess I will talk to them about just the roof, but since mine doesn't have a sun roof anyone that would buy it would have to cut that section out.

    Re: Roof Overlays

It will be easier to lay the whole sheet on and cut around the sunroof than it will be to get a precut hole lined up just right. This stuff stretches and moves so you won't really be working with straight lines anyway.

ok well I am sure he will be able to make them for cars with both sunroofs and non sunroofs. I will talk to him about other colors and see what he can do.

They will have a little bit of excess around the edges so you dont have to line it up perfect. It is designed this way so you then tuck the excess down and it wraps the whole roof as opposed to leaving edges. As long as you spray the sticky part with soapy water first, you will be able to move and slide it around to get it about right. Then squeegee out the water and let it dry out.

Correct. Plus you pretty much want to stretch it since the surface is never going to be perfectly flat. If there was a hole it would be impossible to get those lines to stay perfectly straight as you apply it to the roof surface.

did you read the post above this? It is designed to have excess so it will tuck into the crack. It doesnt have to be a perfect cut hole and you don't have to line it up perfectly.

You would still need to cut it then. It just seems like it would be easier to put on a solid piece and then cut out the hole for the sunroof then to try playing with a piece that had a huge hole in it.

I will talk to him to figure it out and see what he thinks. After all, he is the one who has installed plenty of them in the past.
