Snapped a few photos of my AVant once I parked it in the parking garage in Baltimore on Saturday.
The Radisson valet was like "Want us to park your car?" (He was eyeing the AVant hoping to drive it.) My reply was "Sorry, not this vehicle. Where is a garage where I may park it myself?" I threw him a couple bucks to watch it while I checked into my room.
Those BFG KDWs are fairly loud on the highway. Reminds me of my brother's old Jeep with 35inch BFG Mud Terrains.
These photos are untouched. I just cropped them a little bit. Canon SD1000 point and shoot with some adjustments on color via one of the camera settings. My hands were a bit shaky due to low blood sugar (it was 4hours since I last ate). I also have to play around with the light settings better. Some of these turned out a bit grainy. Not to mention find myself a tri-pod.
I do have to say at WOT in 4th gear with all the windows open the car sounds so fvcking bad-ass in the Baltimore Tunnel! I also set off every car alarm in the parking garage on my way out Sunday morning. Guess the 2.0L is fairly loud at idle in an enclosed garage. haha.
Saw a few Lamborginis while at Asbury Park NJ Sunday (stopped to visit some friends). Also saw a few RS4s like this one parked next to an abandoned building. Sorry for the iPhone photo but my Canon was back in my car.
This was the first time I've been to Asbury in over 8 years. I remembered this place as if it came straight out of the wastelands of the Mad Max movies. Lots of changes (for the better) have been in progress the past few short years.
Saw this on one of the abandoned buildings.
Oh, First time since my car has not been bone stock that someone was 'playing' with me on the highway. Saw a MKIV Jetta roll up behind me over in Waterbury CT today. Huge FMIC, big lip on the front bumper. Dark gray (like our Dolphin Gray color). Had something under the hood. Probably a 1.8T with some upgraded turbo rocking either a BOV or open dump and huge 3" exhaust. I wasn't trying anything serious because there wasn't enough room to really wind the cars up in a 'race' persay but everytime I'd stomp on it in 3rd (60-65mph) I'd pull on him. And I'm still set to 10psi with a partial tune . I slowed down, he pulled up next to me and we waved and said hello. It was fun and I REALLY can NOT wait for this tune to be redone. A few short weeks
